The design and manufacture of pressure
vessels is a specialty of the code shops. At Troy Boiler Works,
we are very experienced with the requirements of the ASME Code.
Our company has produced vessels of all sizes and configurations,
some in excess of 75 Tons (shipped from our site in one piece),
to tiny vessels capable of withstanding thousands of pounds of
internal pressure. |

We have manufactured pressure vessels in a variety of materials, including:
PVQ Carbon Steel Austenitic Stainless Steel (304, 316, 317, Etc.) Nickel
Alloys (Inconel, Carpenter 20, Hastelloy, Monel, Etc.) Aluminum Copper
Alloys,etc.
Our familiarity with these alloys helps assure a quality end product.
Examples of pressure vessels that we commonly
manufacture are:
- Reactors
- Distillation Columns
- Autoclaves
- Sterilizers
- Jacketed and Half-Coil Pipe Vessels
- Pressurized Holding Tanks
- Blowdown Tanks
Regardless of the size and type of pressure
vessel produced, you can be assured that it will be designed,
formed and welded in complete compliance with the ASME Code.
The manufacturing process also includes inspection of the vessel
by an independent certified inspector, and a hydrostatic test
exceeding the service pressure.
Expedited service and repair are also available.
No job is too small or too large for our efforts.
